Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Tallinn to guide us in developing outstanding technical solutions for the software and control of our generators. The gross salary is between 3,500 to 4,750 EUR per month, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

· Supervise and mentor a team of five embedded software engineers
· Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
· Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
· Integrate and validate new product designs
· Support software QA and I/O optimisation and troubleshooting
· Provide post-production support
· Interface with hardware design and development
· Assess third-party and open-source software
· Be a dedicated team player

Requirements

· At least 5 years of experience in the field of embedded systems engineering
· At least 2 years of experience managing teams
· Knowledge of low-level programming for embedded systems in C
· Knowledge of power electronics and experience reading PCB design schematics
· Experience with communication protocols such as UART, RS485, I2C, SPI, etc.
· Experience with RTOSs such as FreeRTOS
· Experience with agile and scrum software development
· Working knowledge of Git
· Knowledge of C++ and a scripting language like Python is a plus
· Knowledge of application development tools, such as Qt, is a plus
· Experience designing PCB’s using a tool like Altium or Eagle is a plus
· Being open-minded and looking for new challenges
· Fluent in both spoken and written English, along with excellent report-writing and administrative skills.
· Willing to relocate to Tallinn, Estonia.
