MEA Development Engineer

Tallinn, Estonia


We are increasing our fuel cell R&D team and are currently looking for skilled and highly motivated MEA Development Engineer. You will work closely with one of the best fuel cell engineers in the world.


Total design of MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly) for PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell);
Help to decide target of MEA performance, durability and cost;
Documentation and evaluation of MEA specifications;
Decide all suppliers for MEA materials;
You will drive the development of MEA from design/simulation, validation, and documentation;
Working with suppliers and the internal testing team is part of the daily routine.


A Bachelor’s degree in MEA development or relevant field is required. Above Master’s degree is preferred;
Experience of fuel cell test and MEA fabrication;
Deep knowledge of fuel cell stack, system, MEA and MEA materials (membrane, catalyst layer, GDL, etc.);
Experience of DR (Design Review) process;
Modeling skills using software like MATLAB, Simulink, Ansys Fluent, COMSOL Multiphysics, etc. is an asset;
Experience of membrane, catalyst layer and GDL development is a plus;
Experience of fuel cell stack development and system development is a plus;
Experience of patent application is a plus;
You are fluent in English and have writing skill of clear and concise technical reports;
You have excellent communication skills, are patient and precise;
You are a proactive team player, also able to work independently;
You can motivate others and yourself;
You can focus on achieving targets;
Willing to relocate to Tallinn, Estonia.
